knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL Server. Possess knowledge of and apply computer

management and coordination skills required.

WASP
Facilitator
Duties -
Represent PMA-281 Weaponeering Integrated Product Team
in the flight clearance (NATIP) process. Requires daily interaction with National
Airworthiness Team (NAT) to maintain knowledge of incoming TYCOM requirements, including
emergent flight clearances, Safety of Flight Notices and technical data from NATIP
and Notice of Ammunition Reclassification (NAR) changes. Assist the IPT in determining
which TYCOM requirements potentially impact the Weaponeering and Stores Planning
(WASP) software, an AIR-4.0P certified source of permanent flight clearance information.
Candidate would attend initial NATIP flight clearance planning meetings and actively
participate in flight clearances and NATIP updates process. Candidate would coordinate
with WASP and Weaponeering IPT with data and schedules to facilitate WASP software
updates acceptance certification in close alignment with the NATIP flight clearance
releases. Initial aircraft platforms represented are F/A-18A-D and F/A-E/F, AV-8B;
potential future support for UCAS, P-3 and P-8.
Required Skills & Experience -
- Position requires Naval Aviation or flight engineer
experience.
- A bachelor’s degree is required.

CONFIGURATION MANAGER FOR AH-1Z, UH-1Y
AND/OR AH-1W PLATFORMS
Required Skills & Experience -
• Reports to the Block Managers for day-to-day AH-1Z,
UH-1Y and/or AH-1W tasking.
• Work collaboratively with product teams to maintain product integrity for WSSA
products.
• Maintain product integrity for WSSA products.
• Establish and maintain product baselines and the release process for products.
• Manage activities of libraries (i.e., HELOS ).
• Ensure that baselined documents and code are changed only as a result of DCRB
or SCRB approval.
• Perform technical reviews for CM and DM impact.
• Maintain accounting of DCRs, System Anomaly Reports (SARs), System Trouble Reports
(STRs), and documentation SARs from initiation through resolution and/or implementation.
• Report metric information at product milestone reviews.
• Serve as single Point of Contact (POC) for distributing and storing technical
and management data or review and acceptance.
• Review Design Agent CM and DM plans.
• Maintain a process for storing, duplicating, distributing and disposing of classified,
unclassified, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) documentation and product media.
• Track user authorization to access WSSA tools, libraries and computer resources.
• The ideal candidate is highly organized and flexible, as well as able to work
rapidly, accurately, and efficiently in a fast-paced engineering environment. The
ideal candidate will be able to properly prioritize and manage concurrent tasks.
The candidate must be able to work closely with others as well as independently.

Operational Flight Programs (OFPs) and System Configuration Set (SCS) configurations.
• Support the System Review Board (SRB) and System Configuration Review Board (SCRB)
by preparing minutes, agendas, action item lists, as well as supplying technical
data.
• Identify, implement and improve tools and processes for performing CM/DM tasks
• Understanding of the configuration management discipline and processes.
• Experience with military aircraft and/or software configuration management preferred.
• Competent in using standard Microsoft products, and data base experience.

SYSTEM TEST FOR AH-1W PLATFORM
Required Skills & Experience -
• Reports to the Block Manager for day-to-day AH-1W tasking.
• Work collaboratively as part of SOR Team to estimate, plan, execute, and report on assigned SORs.
• Oversees the creation of software, and hardware products from initial specifications to final Fleet release and maintenance. The systems engineer/tester is responsible ensuring the development of integrated, sustainable and high-quality H-1 products that meet agreed upon requirements.
System Test Capacity:
• Support management planning by providing input, creating and/or reviewing plans (e.g., roadmap development, WSSA resource needs, SEMP, QA program)
• Support program planning reviews, meetings and milestone events
• Participate in SOR Team activities, as requested or assigned a role
• Collect and refine requirements, and provide estimates
• Define system test requirements
• Ensure requirements traceability is maintained between design and test
• Manage and negotiate changes to requirements and design
• Define and manage subsystem interfaces
• Oversee integration of subsystems to form the system
• Follow defined processes
• Ensure product quality
• Communicate status, issues and when internal or external product commitments are in jeopardy
• Provide Fleet support as required
• Assist in mentoring personnel
