UAV/UAS External Pilot

Requirements - Qualified External Pilot with:
At least 2 years of experience on large systems, preferably Pioneer or Hunter-class systems.
Rolling take-off and landing experience a must.
At least 300 flight hours, to include night-flying.
Strong team skills.
Qualified UAV/UAS EP instructor a plus.
References are required to apply
LOCATION: Relocation not required, but must be willing to deploy for two month rotations.  Training to occur overseas.

 

  

 

  

 

Deputy Project Manager for the Joint Mission Planning System

assist the gov’t PM with the following tasks:

  • as Joint Mission Planning System-Expeditionary (JMPS-E) Project Officer within NavAir PMA-281’s Naval Mission Planning Systems (NavMPS) division.
  • Be accountable to the Deputy Program Manager for NavMPS within NavAir PMA-281 (A GS-15 position).
  • program acquisition requirements and ensure products and services delivered on schedule, within budget, and fully support documented technical requirements.
  • Liaison with Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) as required.
  • Liaison with fleet users and USN & USMC program offices to articulate and validate mission planning requirements. Subsequently coordinate with USN and USMC aviation and Mission Planning Project Managers to ensure USMC requirements balanced against program resources.
  • Provide guidance to software engineers regarding JMPS-E design; execute travel and conduct face-to-face Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM) with primary contractor as required.
  • Provide guidance to LMSS contractor accountable for JMPS-E training and fielding.
  • Manage the following disciplines commensurate with the duties of a NavMPS Mission Planning Environment (MPE) Team Lead:
    • Cost: Manage Obligations & Expenditures, Budgets, Spend Plans.
    • Schedule: Manage the project’s IMS with MS Project.
    • Performance: Manage overall Test and Evaluation process. Coordinate with USN and USMC OTA. Liaison with applicable USN and USMC training commands (EWCOE, EWTGPAC/LANT, MCTOG).
    • Contracting Affairs: Prepare Contractor Performance Appraisal Reports. Evaluate EVM data. Assist the Contracting Officer (KO) with contract modifications. Assist the KO with Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) tracking and reporting.
    • Risk Management: Manage all risks within NSERC’s Risk Exchange.
    • Requirements Management: Be cognizant of emerging technologies. Liaison with MCCDC, LHDRON, and USN and USMC service training commands.
    • Information Assurance: Monitor and facilitate IAT&E, SSAA, and ATO processing.
  • Additional experience with Marine Aviation, Marine Expeditionary Units and 3 years with acquisition or DAWIA Level II in Program Management.
